Are Thinking About Downsizing Your Vehicle?

Are Thinking About Downsizing Your Vehicle?

Having a large vehicle is wonderful if you have a large family, but once everyone is gone and you and your spouse are left with an empty nest, it may be nice to downsize to a vehicle that is not only smaller but one that makes sense depending on your situation. While having a big SUV is nice because of how spacious it is, it can also be uneconomical. Smaller vehicles can benefit from lower repair costs, such as tires or breaks because they don’t cost as much. Downsizing to a smaller vehicle can possibly put you in a better financial position which can free up extra money to put into other investments. Depending on where you live, work and regularly drive to, owning a smaller car can be a lot better for driving, especially if you don’t need to make those drives to practice, to and from school, and so on. Many people enjoy their large vehicle but not the hefty monthly payment. Downsizing may decrease your monthly payments and possibly insurance premiums. With that being said, don’t make the rash trade-in decision that will hurt you in the long run. Be sure to do your research to figure out what works for you.

Downsizing to a Car

Whenever you are deciding which car to downsize to it is important to choose a car that fits you and your needs. Just because you’re downsizing does not mean you have to choose an old granny car. You can always get a sports car like a Mustang or a Camaro which are popular and fun to drive. Downsizing does not mean downgrade. You can have a vehicle that is easy to drive, easy and affordable to maintain, and great on gas. Choose a car that you and your spouse will enjoy to drive.

Do You Prefer a Ford or Chevy?

Do You Prefer a Ford or Chevy? This is the age-old question. Ford or Chevy? Ford lovers wouldn’t be caught dead driving a Chevy, and Chevy lovers wouldn’t be caught dead driving a Ford. Fortunately, this type of mindset is falling by the wayside as the new millennial generation is growing. How Movies Portrayed Car Salesmen

How Movies Portrayed Car Salesmen Since the 80s and through the 90s, movies involving car dealerships shined a negative light on car salesmen and painted a stereotypical picture. These comedic characters came off as shady, sleazy, pushy, and willing to do anything to make the sale. The News Wheel has listed the Top 5 Worst Car Salesmen from Movies and they're some pretty bad ones. Here are my three favorites from the list. Rudy Russo from the 1980 film Used Cars . A young Kurt Russell portrays Rudy Russo, a state Senate hopeful. In order to get a $10,000 campaign investment from used car lot owner Luke Fuchs, Rudy must help him sell some cars to keep his business up and running. While doing so, Rudy uses standard stereotypical used car salesmen techniques like cheesy commercials, fast-talking, and pressure selling. He even baits a customer from a competing lot by using a $10 bill on a fishing line to get the man to cross the street. Joey O’Brien from Cadillac Man . The ...
