Sometimes You Just Need A Truck

Sometimes You Just Need A Truck

There are many car people out there who prefer cars over trucks. They like the gas efficiency, easy maneuverability, and compact size of a car. Don’t get me wrong, cars are great especially if you are looking for all of these qualities. Trucks do not really offer these type of qualities. However, they do provide other qualities that compact cars cannot. Trucks are lovely traveling vehicles, they are large, so you can fit a lot of stuff in them. They also have a backend which is perfect for hauling large items such as furniture, two by fours, and camping gear. Another quality that trucks have over cars is that they have larger engines and they can typically haul horse trailers, flatbed trailers, travel trailers, pop-up campers, etc. Anything you need a lot of space for or a high amount of horsepower for, a truck can do it.

What Kind of Truck Should I Get?

The type of truck you get should depend on your needs or jobs you plan on using it for. If you're hauling a travel trailer, you will obviously need something with quite a bit of horsepower in a larger engine and something that has fifth wheel conversion. If you’re looking for something just to haul a small number of supplies may be for work, then you can choose a smaller truck that may be better on gas mileage and a little easier to maneuver. There are all kinds and types of trucks out there but they typically also serve the same purpose. They are convenient when you can’t fit particular items in a compact car or an SUV. If you are a truck owner and you have friends and family who do not own one, then you are well aware that you might be the first person they call when they need something moved. Secretly, we are all wishing they would just invest in their own truck.

Classic Automobile Features in You Won't See in Modern Cars

Classic Features Classic Features in Cars You Won’t See Today Who knows what kids will reminisce about years from now about their first car. Heck, there’s a chance vehicle won’t run on gasoline anymore, and that is something they will look back on and find nostalgic. Vehicles can start with the push of a button on your keychain, you can open the hatchback with the swipe of your foot, and heated seats (my personal favorite) are just a few features you can find in cars today. Here are a few classic features you won’t see today but were the best. Oldies and Goodies One of my favorites, bench seats. For some reason, I always thought they were fun as a kid, but looking back now, I realize how horrible they really were. Being squished between two adults was actually uncomfortable during long rides. I guess as a kid, you feel the front seat was larger than it really was, and sometimes you had it all to yourself- that’s fun. I’m sure several teenage boys took advantage of the seat design...

From producing vehicles for the public to helping with military equipment, going through some rough times in the past, and to some financial problems. The company has proven to be a brand that plans on sticking around for a long time. Here are a few interesting facts that many have not worked out and some that we still see today. Ford Facts Ford was the first company to manufacture and sell cars. Their first model, the Model A, sold for $850 and only hit a max speed of 30 mph.  The Ford assembly line was devised after Henry Ford got the idea from a pig-slaughtering plant.  They offered better pay to their employees offering double the market average pay at $5 a day.  While the first Ford was sold in 1903 to Dr. Pfennig (Ford’s current CEO, Jim Hackett, owns it today), the iconic Ford logo was first introduced in 1907.  Many may not know that H...
