Easy Ways to Cleaning Your Car
To get your vehicle professionally detailed, it could cost you anywhere from $200 to $500. But doing it yourself can save you big bucks, and you may like it better when you do it yourself. Detailing your car doesn’t have to be crazy expensive or difficult.
Not only does your car look great when you keep up with the cleaning, but it can also be beneficial to your health and the health of your passengers. Not only that, keeping your car “like new” can increase its resale value by hundreds, or even thousands of dollars.
Samarins.com has a few helpful tips for keeping your car’s interior (no matter how old) looking and smelling great. The best part, you probably have a majority of what you need right at home. Just remember, when you use water or any wet cleaning product, not to get it into electrical components, it may cause problems. Also, don't soak the seats too much and don't let water to get under the carpet. This could cause corrosion, stains and that damp moldy smell. Make sure to dry the interior well after you are done.
Alright, here’s a few basic tips for cleaning the interior of your vehicle, now we didn’t touch on everything, but just the basics. For more information and tips on cleaning leather interior and how to get rid of that moldy smell from your air conditioner, be sure to visit Samarins.com:

Vacuuming

If you have a decent vacuum with attachments, you’re in good shape. Remove the floor mats and vacuum those separately. Using the proper attachment, vacuum the seats and the carpet, reach under the seats, around the pedals and the area between the front seats and the center console. Use a soft brush attachment to vacuum the dashboard, vents, knobs, and so on. Use the same attachment to vacuum leather seats; they can be easily damaged or scratched with the vacuum hose.

Cleaning Fabric Seats and Carpet

To spot clean your seats and carpet, you can use a number of cleaning agents available at your local store. After choosing one that is right for you, be sure to follow all directions provided by the company. Typically, the directions would say to shake the can before using, spray evenly on the upholstery or carpet, and to rub the spot till it is gone. Repeat on all the seats and carpet. Just be sure you don’t soak the upholstery and carpet with the cleaner.

Cleaning the Windows

Be sure to clean all the windows from the outside and inside. A window-cleaning spray and glass-cleaning towel will do a good job. Just be careful when you clean the rear window from the inside. If your vehicle has heating lines for the defogger, they can be easy to damage. Use a parallel wiping motion.

Heck, there’s a chance vehicle won’t run on gasoline anymore, and that is something they will look back on and find nostalgic. Vehicles can start with the push of a button on your keychain, you can open the hatchback with the swipe of your foot, and heated seats (my personal favorite) are just a few features you can find in cars today. Here are a few classic features you won’t see today but were the best. Oldies and Goodies One of my favorites, bench seats. For some reason, I always thought they were fun as a kid, but looking back now, I realize how horrible they really were. Being squished between two adults was actually uncomfortable during long rides. I guess as a kid, you feel the front seat was larger than it really was, and sometimes you had it all to yourself- that’s fun. I’m sure several teenage boys took advantage of the seat design...
