I Think He Forgot Something

I Think He Forgot Something
So this is funny. But according to nwitimes.com, a 33-year-old suspect made his getaway after robbing a convenience store but didn't get far. The guy had robbed a LaCrosse gas station after he informed the store clerk he had a gun. The suspect, Sean Harris, made off with food, beverage items, and cigarettes… but no money! I guess the guy was super hungry since the report stated he had a blood alcohol level higher than the limit for legally operating a motor vehicle. Harris fled the gas station, with whatever he could carry, when an Indiana State Police trooper came upon the getaway car. Not in some crazy high-speed chase, or from using some awesome spy satellite that Vin Diesel uses in all his action films. NOPE! Harris’ vehicle ran out of gas. That’s right, he forgot to steal some fuel before making off with his goodies. The Indiana State Police trooper found his vehicle stopped along a two-lane highway. Harris is being held in jail without bail. He was arraigned in LaPorte Circuit Court on a felony robbery charge.

How does that happen? I know the guy was drunk, but really. Maybe he went to the gas station to fill up but decided he wanted food instead. Good thing, he lied to the clerk about having a gun and good thing no one was hurt at the gas station or on the road with this guy. As funny as this story may sound, our staff at Williams Group Auto does not condone drinking and driving. We want everyone to have a good time, but also be safe. But some of us can't help being on our phone or becoming distracted with other things while driving. Thankfully there are a few hand-free options out there, and Apple's CarPlay is one of them. How Much Do You Drive on a Daily Basis?

How Much Do You Drive on a Daily Basis? We live in a society where people typically drive their vehicles for a short period and do not actually pay them off before jumping into a new one. There can be many reasons for this. This means that the total amount that they owed on the previous vehicle is tacked onto the new one so. Therefore, many people are indebted to their vehicles more than they are with their actual home loans. For these types of people, leasing a vehicle sounds like a good option because you get a new one every two years. The only issue with this is that you are only allowed a certain number of miles per year. So, for those of us who travel long distances every day back and forth to work, school or traveling, leasing is not the best option. We exceed the number of allotted miles in only a few months. The Alternative to Leasing A Vehicle So, what does someone do that travels great distances every day to be able to lease or to fit within the qualifications of a l...
