I admit that automatic transmissions have a certain appeal to them since they are so easy to use. However, they do tend to have more problems when it comes to the mechanics of how they work. Still, the sheer ease of their usage tips the scales in favor of the majority of most people. Interestingly, since it is rare to see a manual transmission anymore, some side effects have arisen.
